I’m Amber, graphic designer, brand strategist, classic over-achiever and wannabe do-it-all gal.
I’ve lived at the intersection of marketing and design for over a decade, so I’ve been there, done that, and love this! Couple things you will want to know about me:
I approach projects from both a creative and systematic perspective. The innovative side of my brain pushes me to deliver visually stunning designs that capture attention; meanwhile, my analytical-side ensures that every process and detail has a purpose that supports the overall client and company objectives. I completely geek out over creative strategy.
I am a high-dive kinda gal. Give me a birds-eye view then let me cannon-ball into the middle of a project. I am not afraid to get my hair wet and love it when designs make a splash!

What is your educational background?
I have extensive training in public relations, marketing and graphic design. I graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT with a communications degree in public relations/marketing + minors in Spanish and business. After working in both corporate and agency environments, I wanted to expand my skillset and improve the visual communication process, so I went on to study branding and graphic design. For over a decade now I have offered a fusion of design + marketing services through a freelance environment.
How would you describe your job history?
My work experience includes a nice mix of corporate, agency, and freelance entrepreneurship. From a project perspective, I have spanned the industries working on accounts like AT&T, UPS, Energizer, and Build-A-Bear Workshop. This range of experience has cultivated an ability to acclimate quickly to new projects, business jargons and audience demographics.
How would you describe your work-style and enviornment?
I would say I am an analytical self-starter that prefers environments of team collaboration followed by decisive action. I thrive in a remote work environment with video/online connection with the group and then sign-off period to focus and get the work done.
My DISC Personality trait is a cross-style of Decisive and Supportive meaning that I am industrious, practical, driven, helpful, project & people-oriented. If you follow the Enneagram Personality Test, I am an Achiever (#3) followed very closely by a Perfectionist (#1) and Giver (#2) split.
What type of opportunities are a good match for you?
I enjoy the challenge of applying my skillset to a wide variety of business models and industries and welcome opportunities where the creative process is valued and supported within the overall culture of a business.
From a design perspective, what are you known for?
Intuitive design with thoughtful functionality. I believe that great design captures attention and communicates something and I strive to ensure my efforts reflect that by considering both the visual and functional needs of the client, project and intended audience.
